A Symphony on the Prairie Love Story

Thursday, June 23, 2011 by Symphony Stories
It all started August 8, 2009 while watching the "Mozart in Moonlight" of the Marsh Symphony on the Prairie concert series. I was by myself watching the concert that night because all the friends I invited to watch this concert were either at work or had other plans or plain not interested with classical music at all. I was at that time enjoying my independence at 33 years of age, single and unattached, living at my very own apartment and simply enriching my life. Then there was this gentleman with his coffee who at that time was volunteering for the Fine Arts Society, and asked if he can sit down and talk while listening to the concert. I never would have guessed that he will become my first ever boyfriend. I thought of him as the best match for my younger friend who also happened to be an "Artist" in her own way. That was a very meaningful night for both us, two people among the thousands who gathered in that place that night, two souls of different cultures and grew up in different parts of this world, met and fell in love. Just this February we tied the knot at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Downtown Indianapolis. Last year we were able to watch several concerts at the Prairie and this year we are anticipating to be there and to continue going back where our Love Story all started.
