A Little Something Extra

I love having contests on this blog. Contests allow us to give away cool stuff like tickets and gift cards. Contests allow us to get the word out about Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concerts, events and programs so that more people attend. Most importantly, contests allow us to hear from you - our blog readers - and interact with you.

But when it comes time to pick the winner, I'm not a fan of our contests. It's the old cliche...you're all winners in my book. So, I will follow my own rules, pick three winners, and then I'll still give away 2 tickets to Marsh Symphony on the Prairie to the other entrants. 

The contest was to "Share Your Prairie Memories" in honor of our 30th anniversary season.  

FIRST PLACE: The very well-written entry (plus super photo!) "Time for Three" by Beth Towle from Walkerton, Ind. Beth wins a 10-ticket Value Pack plus a premium parking pass for one concert and a $100 Marsh gift card!

SECOND PLACE:  Again, a very nice entry from Katie Hill. Katie mentions that she sort of ended up at Symphony on the Prairie after suffering a twisted ankle during the ISO's "Circle the City" run/walk event. Katie wins four tickets to Symphony on the Prairie plus a premium parking pass!

THIRD PLACE: I'm a sucker for love stories. Maria writes that she and her husband met for the first time during the Indianapolis Symphony's "Mozart by Moonlight" concert in 2009. A great photo accompanies this nice love connection. Maria will get to bring her husband back to Symphony on the Prairie this season, as she has won two tickets to any concert.
