Our Yuletide Celebration tradition began probably the first year you started. We were guests of Merchants National Bank back then. We enjoyed it so much that when our oldest daughter turned 3 we took her (this would be 1987). And it became a famly tradition whenever our latest child turned 3, he could go to Yuletide. We have 3 children. Two out on their own and one still in college. The kids would ask every year when we were going to Yuletide. Each year we would choose a nice resteraunt and go to dinner and then the show. I took pictures every year in front of the Big tree. The kids especially liked the Scrooge puppets and Twas the Night Before Christmas (which I sang in elementary school choir and still know every word of that song!). I especially enjoy Sandi Patty, as I grew up with her singing at my church. And no one does "O Holy Night" like she does. But my favorite tradition of the show is the dancing Santas. My kids laugh at me every time they come on because I enjoy them so much. Last year due to $ trouble we were unable to attend and the kids were so disappointed. This year as we try to get back on our feet financially, my husband & I will attend without any children. The kids don't live in Indiana anymore except the college age one. So as you can see Yuletide has become a very special time for our family that we all looked forward to every year. Thank you so much for all the work you do on the presentation. It allows you to get away from the things of this world and puts you in the spirit of giving.
